They did it! The Cap Optimist expedition has arrived in Moorea
They did it! Having left Peru on January 4th, the 6 waterwomen of the Cap Optimist expedition completed their prone paddleboard crossing on Saturday, March 25th in Moorea, French Polynesia. An exceptional sports and caritative challenge, fulfilled by rowing through 8000 kilometres of open sea using just the strength of their arms. The drive of these women hanged on their will to strive for the Hope Team East association, committed to the fight against cancer, and to raise funds for the “super optimists” – these children who struggle with the disease daily.
The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, partner of this expedition, wishes again to congratulate Stéphanie, Alexandra, Emmanuelle, Itziar, Marie, Margot and the whole Cap Optimist team for accomplishing this extraordinary feat that will go down in history.
