H.S.H. Princess Charlène raises awareness of first aid techniques on International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco took part in a life-saving skills workshop on Saturday, March 8. The event was organized by the Monaco Red Cross, in collaboration with the associations Entreparents and Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco.

Princess Charlene has long been committed to making first aid training accessible to all, convinced that these essential skills should be shared with as many people as possible, and especially women, who are often the first educators within families.

Her Serene Highness’s dedication to prevention and safety is fully reflected in the actions of Her Foundation, particularly through its drowning prevention programs, where learning first aid techniques plays a fundamental role. This commitment also aligns with Her role as a Red Cross Goodwill Ambassador, further strengthening Her efforts to protect lives.

During this workshop, participants learned essential actions for infants, children and adults, with a particular focus on cardiac resuscitation and chocking prevention. These skills are directly linked to emergency situations that can arise in everyday life, particularly in aquatic environments, where rapid intervention can make all the difference.

Through this initiative, H.S.H. Princess Charlene once again highlighted the importance of first aid training, an essential knowledge that can save lives.
