Operation Poseidon 2024

In collaboration with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Automobile Club of Monaco, the charity event Operation Poseidon initiated by Pierre Frolla, quadruple world record holder in freediving and ambassador of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, took place on Wednesday 22 May at 10:30 a.m. off the coast of Monaco in the presence of HSH Princess Charlene and Mr Gareth Wittstock, Secretary General of Her Foundation, emphasizing the importance of this event for the Foundation’s projects. During this spectacular dive, Pierre Frolla recovered the symbolic checked pattern flag of the 81st Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.

This flag, emblem of the prestigious sporting event of the Monaco Grand Prix, was brought to the surface to be signed by HSH Prince Albert II, HSH Princess Charlene, as well as by the F1 drivers participating in the 2024 world championship.

The signed checked pattern flag will be auctioned to benefit the actions of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.

The funds raised will be donated in full to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, thus contributing to its projects to combat drowning and promote the education of children through the values ​​of sport.

A strong symbol that aims to raise public awareness of water safety at sea.
