Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation Summer Campaign
The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its new drowning awareness campaign.
This initiative aims to prevent drowning accidents and promote water safety through a series of awareness videos.
The campaign is based on awareness videos that depict different contexts of daily life where the risk of drowning may be present and by illustrating various situations – at the pool, at the beach, and even at home – the Foundation hopes to reach a wide audience and instil essential safety practices for all.
“The Foundation has designed these videos to be accessible and relevant to everyone, hoping that they will inspire safe and preventative behaviours,” said HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco. “Drowning is a preventable tragedy, and with this campaign, we want to arm each person with knowledge and reflexes that can save lives.”
The videos are broadcast on the Foundation’s social media platforms as well as on local partner channels, in order to ensure a wide dissemination of the prevention message.
The campaign is also accompanied by a broadcast throughout the principality with a presence on the digital bus shelter networks in the Gare, Condamine and Larvotto districts, as well as a presence on the display networks of the Gare de Monaco, Polygone Riviera, Cap 3000 and Nice Etoile. A broadcast is also planned in the Monaco open-air cinema during the months of July and August.
The Foundation invites all residents of Monaco and the surrounding area to watch these videos, share the information with their loved ones, and actively engage in drowning prevention.
