Water Safety Day Fort Lauderdale

On April 11th morning, the Mayor Dean Trantalis gave welcoming remarks to the Fort Lauderdale students for Water Safety Day.

He was joined by Tomas J. Abreu, the Honorary Consulate of Monaco in Miami.

Shortly following, the kids enjoyed swimming demonstrations from competitive students from schools across Broward County.

Fort Lauderdale is partnering with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation to teach children how to stay safe and have fun in the water.

The Foundation helps children access swimming lessons and water safety education.
