Water Safety Days 2023 in Calvi

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation organizes the “Water Safety Days” in Calvi on June 16-17, 2023.

Workshops in lifesaving, first aid and water safety on the beach will be offered to children from the schools of Calvi. These workshops will be supervised by Pierre Frolla, Ambassador of the Foundation and freediving recordman with his team from the Académie Monégasque de la Mer, with the support of a team of sports professionals, of the Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer (SNSM) and of the firefighters of Calvi.

Additionally, on Saturday, June 17th in partnership with the town of Calvi and the Xavier Colonna Port, everyone will be able to discover numerous associations on the port, take part in demonstrations and participate in activities, including:

* Meetup with associations on the port

* Workshops and conferences on plastic pollution, waste recycling and the ocean – with Mare Vivu and STARESO

* Demonstration of cleaning robots animated by Ekkopol

* Demonstration and handling of water bikes

* Initiation to scuba diving with Calvi Plongée

* Exhibition of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation at the Tour du Sel
