World Rugby Awards – Sunday, November 20th

During an exceptional evening held in the emblematic Salle des Étoiles, the World Rugby Awards ceremony, placed under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, saw the great champions of rugby as well as the entire rugby community reward the year’s best moments.

In the presence of T.S.H. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, nine of the winners were chosen by the prestigious World Rugby Awards jury, while the rugby community had the opportunity to vote for the IRP Test of the Year for both men and women on World Rugby’s social media channels.

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation would like to congratulate Bryan Habana, South African rugby player, for receiving the “International Rugby Players Award of Merit” during this ceremony.

In addition to his involvement with the Foundation, Bryan Habana has worked with the International Rugby Players and the South African Players’ Association My Players. Bryan is an example for the game beyond the pitch, through his fundraising campaigns for hard-hit communities and his fight for the voices of rugby union and sevens players to be heard at the highest level.
